Addison, Meek and Winston County have advanced to the AHSAA state volleyball tournament. Addison and Winston County are the north regional champions for 1A and 2A, respectively, while Meek is the 1A north regional runner-up.
Addison will take on Millry in the quarterfinals, and Meek will match up with Leroy. Both games are scheduled for 10:30 am on Oct. 28th. WCHS plays Highland Home on Oct. 29th at 10:30. The AHSAA state volleyball tournament is at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
Haleyville and Lynn also competed in the regional tournament. Lynn is the 1A Area 10 champion, and Haleyville is the 4A Area 10 runner-up.
Congratulations to all of these teams for representing their schools at regionals, and best of luck to Addison, Meek, and WCHS in the state tournament.
