Balancing four sports, strong academics, and active involvement in school life, Lynn High School junior Alli Dutton is the kind of student-athlete who gives 100 percent, no matter the season. A fierce competitor, she proudly represents the Lynn Bears in volleyball, softball, basketball, and track.
Alli’s list of athletic honors is impressive, having received multiple All-County and All-Area honors. She’s also received recognition in the Northwest Alabama Conference, highlighting her consistency and excellence across every sport she plays.

Despite her numerous accolades, Alli remains humble and grounded. “My favorite thing about being an athlete is the environment and being with my friends,” she said. “Our whole town gets involved in sports. Everyone comes out to support us, and it’s special.”
As a four-sport athlete, Alli admits that her schedule rarely allows for downtime. “I never really get a break,” she said with a laugh, “but I’m a team player. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”
Of all her sports, volleyball holds a special place in her heart. She looks up to Harper Murray, an outside hitter for the University of Nebraska, who plays the same position. “She always has a smile on her face,” Alli said. “I admire her for the kind of athlete and person she is.”

Alli’s talents extend well beyond athletics. She’s active in numerous school organizations, including Key Club and L-Club. Through SGA, she has participated in discussions about adding a pickleball court to the school courtyard and says that pickleball is a sport she’d play every day if she could.
Looking ahead, Alli dreams of playing softball or volleyball in college while pursuing a degree in marine biology. With her drive, enthusiasm, and big-hearted team spirit, she embodies the true Lynn Bear spirit: hardworking, humble, and always ready to give her all for her team and her community. 67
